CARING Senior Living, Inc. offers an Assisted Living Program (ALP) to Millville Housing Authority residents. The ALP is designed for individuals who suffer from medical conditions that result in the inability to care for themselves independently and/or safely. It provides daily services that allow residents who are disabled to remain comfortably within their own homes rather than having to move into a long-term care or other institutional facility.
The program offers individually tailored services including:
- Personal Care
Assistance with bathing, dressing and grooming
- Medication
Monitor, order and administer medications
- Homemakers services
Assistance with light housekeeping, personal laundry and meal preparation
- Health monitoring
Performed regularly by a nurse in the privacy of the participant’s apartment
- Transportation
Assistance with arranging transportation to and from health appointments
- Social Activities
Access to recreational and social activities, plus shopping trips
- Coordination of care between ALP participants and their primary and specialty care physicians.
- Additional supportive services as needed or prescribed by a physician
Medicaid pays for the cost of Assisted Living services.
Receiving care from the ALP staff means receiving care from a well-trained, CPR certified and highly qualified team of professionals.
Each day the ALP’s onsite Wellness Center is staffed by a Licensed Practical Nurse, Certified Medication Aides and a Registered Nurse is available at scheduled hours onsite and available on call.
